In the spirit of the mandate of the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT) and to be relevant to the current national economic and industrial development reform programmes, the vision and mission of the Institute have been refocused as:
Vision:
-To be the major stakeholder in the development of National Science Technology and Innovation system through the efficient and effective management of science laboratories in Nigeria
Mission:
-To advance Science Laboratory Technology profession in Nigeria .
-To maintain high ethical standards in science laboratory technology practice.
-To cause rapid development of the nation through science laboratory technology.
