The Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT) announces the commencement of registration of new applicant for October 2024 Diet of Mandatory Professional Examination (MPE). This examination is mandatory for all Science Laboratory Technology graduates (external candidates) and students (internal candidates) from Universities and Polytechnics seeking Associate Membership of the Institute. Registration portal opens from July 22nd 2024 to September 6th 2024
October 2024 Diet will feature Module I, Re-sit I, Module II and Re-sit II examinations. However, Candidates that have already registered and sat for module I in May 2024 Diet will wait till September 15th 2024, when the Examination portal will be opened to register for their exams.
External candidates who wish to register for MPE should start from this link: https://nislt.gov.ng/mpeeligibility.php They are required to pay the necessary fees, fill out the form attaching all required documents. The candidate will be notified if the registration is approved and will receive login credentials. The candidate can then login to register for the examination (Module I for example) as soon as it is scheduled and select the center of choice to write the examination.
The Internal candidates (SLT students in 400L & 500L in the University or HND I & HND II in the Polytechnics) are to register through their respective Deans/HODs.
The MPE October 2024 Diet examination is scheduled to hold on 15th and 17th October 2024
