The Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology wishes to bring to the attention of all its Members, that the National Office of Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP) is developing a Database of Nigerian Professionals in line with the Presidential Executive Order 5 (EO 5) Signed By President Mohammadu Buhari (GCOFR) in Feb, 2018).

The Order directed all MDAs to engage indigenous professionals in the planning, design and execution of national projects. Mr President also directed that all procurement entities of the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) shall give preference to Nigerian companies in the award of contracts for major projects in Science, Engineering and Technology and where local expertise is not available, Nigerian company shall enter into consortium with relevant foreign firms. The Order also stated that NOTAP shall develop, maintain and regularly update a database of Nigerians with expertise in Science, Engineering, Technology (SET) and other fields of expertise.
In line with the above directive, NOTAP is compiling the list of Nigerian professionals with expertise in Science, Engineering, Technology (SET) and other fields including those in the Diaspora. To this effect, NOTAP requests all Nigerian SET experts to register their names on NOTAP’s website: https://www.notap.gov.ng/node/add/database-of-niger-prof
